The most exciting vineyard planted in years, WeatherEye is perched on top of Red Mountain overlooking the Yakima Valley. Arguably the most extreme terroir in Washington State and under the guiding hand of Ryan Johnson, WeatherEye has quickly redefined the limit of what is possible in Washington wine. We are honored to work with head-trained Grenache grown on terraces of fractured basalt. This wine reflects that terroir. Classic savory aromatics of crunchy strawberry and raspberry fruit compote with infused hints of black pepper, lavender, orange peel, and minerality leap from the glass and integrate with a delicate, silky, yet powerful core. Les Terrasses is a true statement of this vineyard, the terraces, and the vintage.
